"You can't escape the past."
Review:
We have seen many movies similar to this where an ex con on run from everything and past won't let him live in peace. In my view this movie failed to deliver much more than what it supposed to. I mean the main character is hyped with mysteries and then when truth breaks out in the story it was not that powerful.
The cast was good, Robert Redford and Shia LaBeouf, no doubt on that but like I said earlier the story needed something extraordinary in twist because the end was predictable and serious let down. I thought the end was too selfish where one character takes an advantage over another. The movie does not promises in its depth and it was just good more like an average type movie. The role played by Shia as an ambitious young reporter was made a big difference in the movie.
